French doors lead out on to the patio and an unfenced stream passes through the enclosed garden to the rear of the property. This beautiful lake is a popular destination for walkers as it boasts spectacular views and a tranquil, peaceful atmosphere. Myths about The Lady of the Lake and the Physicians of Myddfai come from ancient times, and some people believe that the Arthurian legend of the Lady of the Lake and Excalibur stem from here.
If you’re a romantic star gazer then the first International Dark Sky Reserve in Wales, situated in the Brecon Beacons, is perfect for you. On a clear night, you can see the Milky Way, major constellations, bright nebulas and even meteor showers. It’s enough to make anyone starry-eyed.
